A beach holiday in Jamaica far enough away from noisy Negril, but near enough to visit sounds ideal. Well it gets even better if you choose the Coral Cove Resort in Little Bay. It variously describes itself as Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, a bed and breakfast inn, a Caribbean Hideaway, the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a great beach holiday, and in fact all these descriptions are true enough, but it isn’t the whole truth at all.

The fact is that your beach holiday at the Coral Cove Resort is far more than a bed and breakfast Inn, it is full board, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and not only that it is also all inclusive. Now a cheap bargain holiday, costing on average USD315 per night is in fact the most comprehensive comfortable package you will find anywhere on Jamaica for the price.

Don’t be misled by the words cheap bargain holiday because there doesn’t appear to be a bad word anywhere for the Coral Cove Resort, in fact there is reams of praise as a wonderful beach holiday, a great place for a wedding, and a wonderful Caribbean Hideaway, romantic getaway are used all the time.

With only eleven rooms, this is a really personal intimate inn. The all inclusive package means, generous breakfasts, lunch and appetizers during the day, and romantic candlelit dinners. Praise is heaped upon the quality of the food in the restaurant. It is not only good but healthy and plentiful as well.

It also includes refreshments such as fresh juices, bottled water, sodas, domestic beers, wine and spirits as well as fruit smoothies and other tropical drinks. This covers 24 hours a day which is rare, and in fact if the bar isn’t manned then you can just go and help yourself.

The all inclusive extends to the use of bicycles, snorkelling equipment along with instruction, beach towels, high speed internet including a complimentary guest computer.

The rooms at Coral Cove Resort, really fit the description of a rustic Caribbean hideaway Inn. They are all different, and rustic really does describe them best, certainly old fashioned could be another description. Having said that the beds are very comfortable, and some of the rooms have open air showers, with views to die for from the upper floors.

The whole situation of Coral Cove Resort makes you realise why this is the perfect hideaway. At 10 miles from Negril, it is a world away from the hustle and bustle, mainly due to the slight difficulty of access. The last four miles from the airport are on an interesting somewhat bumpy road, which is probably what keeps the village of Little Bay what it is, a small fishing village, and very much old fashioned real Jamaica before the tourist masses took over. The resort has a low cliff front, a small cove, and a private beach, and really you couldn’t ask for more for a great beach vacation.

All of this is complemented by excellent, willing, and happy staff who will do whatever it takes to make your vacation a happy one.

This may on paper be a cheap bargain getaway holiday, but the reality is the quality at Coral Cove Resort is immense, the vibes are terrific, and there are few if any places in Jamaica better for a  romantic getaway.
